In ” A place in the sun” I’m exploring concepts such as the average man in the street in four video portraits. They appear in different activities, being at the hairdresser, in the forest and in normal interview situations.
The four characters are presented like a group of people, more than telling their private history. The experiences and everyday doings of the four subjects are intertwined, making a difficult to separate their identities. In this work I have investigated the idea of being normal, if it is possible to focus on that today. What is an everyday life like? I want to show how different individuals are lzving in one part of the world, in a world that breaks up, between post modernity, post-humanity, post-nature or post-everything.
